Mardi Gras 2009 (february)
Well this year was a great Mardi gras season. Avery had so much fun with all the beads and stuffed animals. Every parade we went to was family friendly and such great weather. During one of the night parades you can see that it was cold and way past Avery's bedtime, some of pictures she is cranky.
February 2009 1st trip to the Zoo
January 31st, On Avery's 18 month celebration, we took her to the New Orleans Audubon Zoo. It was her first trip, her God Parents Andrew and Mary came with us. We had a lot of fun, watching her eyes light up at knowing the names of all the animals. She pronounced all of them, even giraffe. It was beautiful outside that day. It was a perfect day for the zoo, I can't wait to make many more trips, a perfect family outing.
